2020 Commissions

I am busy painting to finish up two pieces before turning back to my black paintings with solo figures. I have a family commission and the “tsaya’ piece for the advocacy group helping to re-integrate Nigerian women from slavery back into the community. I am working back and forth between oils and acrylics to finish these up. I have a solo show coming up in August 2020 where I would like to show a new series of the black & figure paintings, so I hope to close out these two pieces soon. I may also return to the pan pastels. That opened a new window into another silent illusive imagery that I would like to experiment with. Back to the studio!
