Eagle Soldier

I was asked to make art for a Military Art Show benefiting the victims from 9/11.  An image of a soldier walking into battle with Eagle’s wings came to my mind. I sketched it and then had it laser etched on Plexi Glass.  With this material the light can pass through the piece and cast a shadow on an opposite wall.  The ephemeral dual image adds a dimension of companionship and the passing of time. Size varies from 20″ to life size depending on light source.
