It’s June!

I spent the first half of the year exhibiting, curating, teaching, traveling and speaking – it’s time to get back in the studio.

I am working on four projects right now along with casting more doves and still pulling threads. First, individual Blessing Doves are being oil painted to reflect on-of-a-kind impressions of specific locations where they were placed. Second, a trip to Israel has inspired me to paint. See photos I’ll use for reference. Third, I am rolling pages from the Bible for a sculptural canvas, then? not sure yet. I did this with pages from Art Forum for an auction piece that was very well received. Lastly, it is time to manifest a “diversity” drawing I’ve had on my mind for some time on a wood canvas – just starting to lay it out.

It feels good to be back in the studio!
