This is a new series I created during an “in-between” spell in the studio where I needed reflection time. The process of rolling art magazine pages into tiny tubes was methodical and meditative. I went crazy with it! As the tubes accumulated I then started to separate them by color and themes of color. Once I had a bunch of grouping, I began to spontaneously engineer them into angular clusters and forms. It was fun! … and beautiful! Each piece carries an emotional sense, yet one that must be named by the view, for me there were so many petition emotions during this season. One I entered into a contest and won the 3rd place award and then sold it to one of the judges!
