The Word

Pages from a book were slip cast in clay and fired away to leave a thin layer of porcelain.  The pages are gathered in a walnut wooden frame and positioned on top of a wood and steel altar size table.  The pages used in this piece are from the artist’s mother’s bible, which transformed her mother’s life before she died.
